Also, today the hoagies were supposed to be $6.99. I realized "after I got home" that I was charged $8.99. I called, but they were closed!!
Disappointed with the hard roll. 3rd time coming and it's hard to enjoy a quality sub when the bread is hard. Everything else was fresh.
I'll start with the positive--delicious sandwiches! However, on at least four occasions (tonight being another one), there almost always is something missing from my order. A couple weeks ago, I couldn't wait to get home to eat my Abruzzi, only to be disappointed that they forgot the broccoli rabe. Tonight, again, they forgot my 'long hots,' but fortunately, this time I checked in my car and went back in. If you call, they tell you to "come back." Well, I don't want to drive 20 minutes to go back. In the future, I will open the sandwich in the shop to make sure I get what I want and what I paid for.
Fresh meats and rolls. Fast and friendly service.
8/8/17--Folliw-up to my message above from last night. Called to tell them I was over-charged, since I had gotten a text from them for hoagies being $6.99 on 8/7. I was told that in order to get that price, I had to tell them upfront, at the register, that I got the text. Nowhere in the text does it say you have to do that. I won't be going back. Capisullo and Capriotti's here I come!
